The good old BBC have just broken this story of a hoard of 77 pieces of Angkorian gold and gem-encrusted jewellery, including crowns, belts, necklaces and earrings, which have been returned to Cambodia, and were part of the treasure trove that art dealer Douglas Latchford possessed before his death in August 2020. Five of the items have been seen before, as they were touted by Latchford and his collaborator Emma Bunker in their 2008 book, Khmer Gold. The treasures were returned to the kingdom by a team led by HE Hun Many, the government's representative.
